About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a HYBRID Executive Director, RCM Financial Analytics position to join our team! Work Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm EST Work location: Durham or Burlington, NC RESPONSIBILITIES: Revenue Close Leadership (Owner) Own the monthly/quarterly LCBS revenue close reporting and analytics for Labcorp Diagnostics ~$10B+ annualized revenue, including accruals, reserves, and variable consideration (denials, concessions, underpayments, charity/bad debt) in accordance with ASC 606 and company policy. Partner with Corporate Accounting/Controllership to align on policies, SOX/internal controls, and external audit support. Analytics, Insights & Performance Deliver executive-level reporting and deep-dive analyses (payer performance, reimbursement trends, test mix) to inform decisions. Deliver specific analytics requirements in high-paced and stressful situations with requests coming from various areas of the business. Prioritization, execution and proactive approaches are a requirement. Compliance, Controls & Policy Maintain strong financial governance across RCM, including financial documentation, change control, reconciliation, and sign‑offs. Leadership & Stakeholder Management Lead and develop a high-performing team to deliver executive-level reporting and deep-dive analyses (payer performance, reimbursement trends, test mix) to inform decisions and drive actions and initiatives. Serve as the executive interface with Sales, Science and Technology, Legal, Tax, Treasury and IT. PAMA & Reimbursement Strategy Serve as enterprise PAMA partner, whose team leads data collection/validation, reporting cycles, and scenario modeling to anticipate CLFS impacts. Technology & Data Enablement Advance RCM data strategy, automation, and self-service analytics capabilities.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree and 10 + years in relevant financial leadership, financial close processes, financial reporting data and analytics and Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree and 12+ years relevant financial leadership, financial close processes, financial reporting data and analytics experience required

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 10+ years of financial leadership experience in a data driven, data reporting and analytic environment
  • Minimum 10+ years in Labcorp RCM leadership
  • Minimum 10+ years experience managing cross‑system data integrity, identify variances, and resolve discrepancies in complex operational environments.
  • Minimum 10+ years of extensive knowledge in financial accounting, system reconciliation, and multi‑platform data validation.
  • Minimum 8+ years interpreting data at a high level and reporting findings or trends to Senior Leaders inclusive of C-Suite members
  • Minimum 8+ years being proactive and reactive to numerous requests for data information from several areas of support
  • Minimum 8+ years experience with data marts and similar analytics tools.
  • Minimum 8+ years experience working with RCM system architecture and data flows
  • Minimum 8+ years knowledge and command of multi-system financial reconciliations across billing platforms
