About The Position

The Executive Director, Project Planning and Operations, leads and provides coordination and administrative oversight for the Operational Readiness and Building Readiness efforts leading to the successful activation of the IU Health New Downtown Hospital Campus. The Executive Director is accountable for setting the strategy which will ensure a seamless transition from the existing hospital facilities to the new Campus, working closely with Hospital and Health System operational leaders to establish a cross Regional operational platform that will transform the Patient and Team Member experience. This role will drive improvement across all dimensions of the Promise Dashboard while ensuring local and community aspects of the new IU Health District are considered. The incumbent is expected to partner with senior administrative and clinical leadership to ensure strategic alignment around the planning effort, implementation approach and project goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited educational institution in an applicable field.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects involving multiple customers, interests, and goals.
  • Specific skill sets in Contract Administration.
  • Specific skill sets in Change Management (ideally proficient with the ProSci ADKAR Change Management framework).
  • Specific skill sets in Process/Performance/Organizational improvement.
  • Specific skill sets in Design Consultant Supervision.
  • Ability to analyze problems, troubleshoot, and identify alternative solutions.
  • Ability to project possible consequences of proposed actions and implement recommendations.
  • Proven significant experience in managing major construction projects and organizational initiatives in excess of $100 million.

  • Master’s Degree is preferred.
