Requirements

• Qualified to degree level in a relevant subject area
• Mastery of Brand Management area and multi-disciplinary experience (cross-functional or functional)
• Remit which covers all AstraZeneca countries

Responsibilities

• Establishes an overall strategy for a major brand in line with the global sales and marketing strategy
• Utilises analysis of the market segment to understand key sales opportunities and areas of profitability for the brand and align sales strategy to these
• Ensures the appropriate levels of sales support are available and manages resource allocation effectively
• Ensures that tactical leadership decisions are enforced in order for the business to achieve its objectives
• Reviews the ongoing operational performance of the team, focusing on the development of efficiencies and operational improvements, such as administration efficiency, cost control, revenue management, legal compliance and human resource management
• Leads, guides, evaluates and develops a team of senior managers across the brand support function to ensure that the area achieves its’ business objectives and complies with all relevant regulations and laws
• Coaches and delivers effect performance to direct and indirect reports creating a supportive work environment where everyone has the opportunity to fulfil their potential
