The Strategy and Business Development team is often at the heart of these efforts. We play a crucial role in developing strategy, launching and scaling growth initiatives, supporting operational execution, and identifying attractive inorganic growth opportunities. As a leader on the team, you will work closely with the Head of Strategy and Business Development and leaders across the business to identify and pursue opportunities to grow the business and achieve our strategic objectives.

  • Has a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a highly strategic, analytical role (e.g., strategy consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy)
  • Holds a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in an quantitative or technical discipline
  • Is excellent with Excel and PowerPoint; may have experience with other analytical tools as well (e.g. Alteryx, Tableau)

Nice To Haves

  • May have a graduate degree in relevant field (e.g. MBA, Masters of Finance)

Responsibilities

  • Identifying and prioritizing step-change growth opportunities and ways to pursue them that balance risk and return (buy, build, acquire, partner)
  • Evaluating, performing due diligence on, and making recommendations regarding new business opportunities (e.g. partnerships, M&A, internal initiatives)
  • Proactively identifying areas of opportunity within our current businesses (e.g. incremental revenue, margin expansion) and working with relevant leaders to scope projects to pursue these opportunities
  • Translating challenging business questions into strategic projects with well-defined objectives, timelines, and resource requirements
  • Identifying and seeking appropriate sources of insight (e.g. data analytics, customer insights, market insights) to move strategic projects forward
  • Driving projects that span multiple departments to deliver results quickly and efficiently
  • Clearly articulating recommendations to internal and external stakeholders; building consensus and managing internal decision-making process with complex stakeholder groups
  • Working alongside functional and business teams to ensure projects are set-up for long-term success
