About The Position

The Executive Director Strategy leads high-impact strategic engagement across the enterprise globally and across BUs, acting as an internal consulting partner to senior leadership. The Executive Director will drive transformation, growth, and innovation across product lines, commercial models, and operational functions.

Requirements

  • MBA or advanced degree from a top institution.
  • 7-10 years of experience, with 5+ years at a top-tier strategy consulting firm preferred.
  • Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional strategy projects.
  • Strong financial acumen and comfort with modeling, valuation, and scenario planning.
  • Exceptional communication, influence, and executive presence.
  • Strong quantitative skills (Engineering, Economics, Finance preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Strategy Leadership Own and drive strategic initiatives from diagnosis through execution, including M&A, portfolio optimization, digital transformation, and go-to-market redesign.
  • Develop and maintain a multi-year strategic roadmap aligned with corporate priorities and innovation goals.
  • Partner with business unit leaders to identify growth opportunities and operational improvements.
  • Internal Consulting & Execution Lead internal strategy consulting projects with a small, high-performing team.
  • Define problem statements, structure analyses, and synthesize insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Build execution roadmaps and oversee implementation in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Stakeholder Engagement Serve as a strategic thought partner to C-suite and functional leaders.
  • Facilitate workshops, steering committees, and alignment forums to drive consensus and momentum.
  • Communicate strategy clearly across levels—from boardroom to frontline.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Work across R&D, Commercial, Finance, Operations, and Regulatory to ensure strategic alignment and execution.
  • Influence without authority, leveraging relationships and credibility to drive change.
  • Talent Development Mentor junior strategists and high-potential talent across the organization.
  • Foster a culture of analytical rigor, curiosity, and strategic thinking.
