About The Position

The Executive Director (Pediatric Home Health) role is responsible for developing and enhancing client and employee relationships, maintaining an excellent rapport with clients and caregivers, and promoting harmonious interpersonal relationships. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and the ability to evaluate staff performance effectively. The Executive Director must maintain a current awareness of field staff capabilities and limitations, demonstrate sound judgment in assigning duties, and consistently counsel field staff to provide exceptional customer service. Adherence to Connect Pediatrics’ policies and procedures is crucial, including holding nurses accountable for non-clinical policies and procedures. The role involves active involvement in cost containment, effective utilization of nurses, and participation with the Clinical Supervisor in performance management of nursing staff. Leadership is demonstrated through planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating client services, along with effective communication skills. Day-to-day duties include managing staffing to ensure all patients are adequately covered, maintaining labor and field nurse overtime percentages in line with company goals, and hiring and training new operations team members. The role also involves managing recruiting efforts, ensuring the office meets staffing goals, and managing all job postings, including revisions and reviews. Involvement in career fairs, managing new patient onboarding, serving as the primary non-clinical contact for new patients and nurses until onboarding is complete, and managing client and employee retention efforts are key responsibilities. Additionally, the Executive Director manages client and office relations, ensures timely delivery of nursing supplies and equipment, assists with managing nurse and office employee bonus structures and team-building events, and manages new employee onboarding and orientations. The role includes meeting new nurses during orientation, assisting in marketing events, and visiting client homes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma; college preferred.
  • Business office management and supervisory experience preferred.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Speak, read, write and comprehend English.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
