About The Position
Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a driven, dedicated, and goal-oriented Executive Director of Operations to lead one of its communities. The role manages the community’s budget and occupancy goals, maintains appropriate staffing levels, and drives overall customer service. The Executive Director is expected to build and manage a loyal team, support seniors, and help the community operate effectively and efficiently.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Three to five years of management or healthcare-related experience.
- Experience in a managerial role responsible for multiple disciplines.
- Budgeting and staffing experience.
- Proficiency with Windows applications such as Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- A degree in Healthcare Administration, Hospitality Management, or Business.
Responsibilities
- Authorize purchases, provide onsite sales support, and conduct monthly family meetings.
- Participate in training and developing new employees and implement initiatives to improve community effectiveness and efficiency.
- Review bills and statements.
- Analyze revenue projections and make adjustments when revenue sources decrease.
- Manage the Sales Director.
- Network with outside referral sources, such as hospital and rehabilitation personnel.
- Qualify prospects financially using credit reports, bank statements, and other relevant information.
- Review occupancy in relation to staffing.
- Assist with hiring and recruitment.
- Handle resident and family grievances.
