About The Position

A visionary executive to provide strong leadership and strategic guidance to the organization, while spearheading the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies, processes and infrastructure. Must have the ability to identify and pursue partnerships that support our organizational growth, while ensuring our continued relevance to the health care community, the accomplishment of our mission and vision, and accountability to our diverse constituents and stake holders. The Executive Director, along with the Department Director(s) works closely with hospital COO, physicians, staff and C level executives on the following priorities: 1) Operations and Project Management, 2) EVS and Patient Transport, 3) FNS, 4) Laboratory, 5) Sports Medicine and Rehab, 6) Wound Care, 7) Community Primary Care Clinic, 8) Facilities, 9) Construction and additional areas as assigned. This position involves overseeing strategic growth areas along with supervising and leading individual projects at the hospital and monitoring the activities and operations of the business units to ensure they are meeting their objectives/goals. The Executive Director has the ability to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making abilities to achieve optimal organizational objectives. This position supports a culture of continuous improvement that promotes and defines excellence in the five areas of: Clinical, Service, Team, Market and Finance.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree
  • 5 years progressive Director-level leadership experience in similar setting
  • Valid State of Florida drivers license

Responsibilities

  • Serves as an active business partner with the AdventHealth Waterman executive team in the deployment of the strategic agenda, while providing professional, confidential and efficient executive and business support.
  • Supports the Executive team in completion of critical projects including, but not limited to, ongoing tracking, progress/milestone accountability and reporting, and presentations to Boards, committees, internal and external audiences.
  • Participates in strategic planning process, always striving for efficiency and quality.
  • Develops strategies to improve scorecard performance.
  • Develops engagement and communication strategies with leaders, employees, and physicians
  • Provides executive leadership for ancillary services departments as listed above.
