About The Position
St. Camillus is seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Director of Hospice Services to lead our growing hospice program. This executive leader will drive clinical excellence, operational performance, and regulatory compliance while ensuring compassionate, patient- and family-centered end-of-life care.
Requirements
- RN License (Wisconsin) and Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required
- 5+ years of hospice or home health experience, with strong regulatory knowledge
- 3+ years of leadership experience in hospice or related healthcare setting
- Expertise in compliance, surveys, audits, and accreditation processes
- Proven ability to lead teams, drive performance, and achieve quality outcomes
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for hospice services
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including Conditions of Participation (CoPs) and accreditation standards
- Oversee clinical operations, care delivery, documentation, and interdisciplinary team performance
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction outcomes
- Develop and manage departmental budgets in partnership with senior leadership
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing interdisciplinary team
- Strengthen relationships with referral sources, community partners, and healthcare providers
- Champion a culture of compassion, accountability, and continuous improvement
