About The Position

St. Camillus is seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Director of Home Health to lead the overall operations of our home health services. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and financial stewardship while advancing the mission and values of the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required; current Wisconsin RN license required.
  • Minimum 5 years of home health experience with strong knowledge of federal guidelines (OASIS, CoPs, PDGM).
  • At least 3 years of leadership experience in home health or a related healthcare setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance, surveys, audits, and accreditation processes.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with home health clinical software.
  • Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to perform essential functions safely with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for all home health services.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including DHS 133, Conditions of Participation (CoPs), and Joint Commission standards.
  • Oversee clinical operations, including OASIS, PDGM coding, and reporting practices.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor departmental policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and finance to develop and manage the department budget.
  • Lead staffing efforts, including hiring, training, development, performance management, and retention.
  • Establish and maintain organizational structure to support effective care delivery and supervision.
  • Drive quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Address and resolve client, family, and staff concerns, ensuring appropriate follow-up and reporting.
  • Foster strong relationships across interdisciplinary teams and within the community.
  • Represent the organization in professional associations, networking groups, and healthcare committees.
  • Ensure all services promote client independence, comfort, and the highest level of function.
  • Participation in operational planning and goal setting.
  • Commitment to confidentiality, safety, and organizational standards.
  • Engagement in ongoing training, meetings, and quality initiatives.
  • Availability to respond to operational needs and designate coverage when necessary.
