About The Position

The Cottages Assisted Living is seeking a licensed Administrator, referred to as Executive Director, to lead one of their homes. This role requires a compassionate, accountable, and purpose-driven leader who believes in creating a life filled with dignity, joy, and connection for residents, and a workplace where team members thrive. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, people-first leader who wants to make a meaningful impact daily.

Requirements

Active Administrator's License (required)
Strong leadership and decision-making skills
A passion for serving seniors and supporting teams
Excellent organization and communication skills
A proactive, hands-on approach

Responsibilities

Lead the overall operations of the home with a focus on residents' physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
Lead, develop, and support the staff.
Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment.
Ensure compliance with all state regulations and licensing requirements.
Create a safe, engaging, and positive environment for residents and staff.
Evaluate and admit prospective residents with healthcare professionals.
Oversee resident care needs and coordinate with medical providers.
Recruit, hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
Set clear expectations and maintain accountability.
Ensure the home is well-maintained, clean, and welcoming.
Manage documentation and regulatory requirements.
Assist with medication oversight as needed.
Participate in on-call rotation for evenings/weekends.
Build community relationships and maintain strong occupancy.
Manage expenses and support financial performance.
