About The Position

The Global Operations, Client Services & Administration group delivers world-class safety and soundness for the global financial services industry. The team provides DTCC’s portfolio of core securities and superior transaction processing and client services support in an environment that minimizes risk and cost while maximizing efficiency. The Executive Director, Head of Product & Platform Strategy, Wealth & Investment Solutions is accountable for driving the strategic direction of the Wealth business to amplify growth and deliver maximized value for the market. This includes responsibility for developing and supporting execution of a comprehensive strategic roadmap and business plan by identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities. This role will lead high-priority, strategic initiatives in partnership with product leads to expand the total serviceable addressable market, support the development of the strategic Wealth platform, and increase the firm’s client base and profile within the industry. Leveraging the power of artificial intelligence, this role will ensure the Wealth business remains competitive and relevant, while maintaining alignment with risk/control and regulatory requirements and supporting the overall strategic goals of DTCC.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10+ years of related experience gained in various leadership roles, including product and strategy roles.
  • Experience with frontier technologies, including AI and blockchain.
  • A significant contributor to product strategy in which technological advancement and new business models are key growth areas.
  • Adept at working cross functionally with technology, finance, business leaders and junior team members alike.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline or equivalent work experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Articulate a clear long-term vision for Wealth in the context of DTCC more broadly that connects strategy, capabilities, and growth, establishing accountability, performance measurement, and governance to drive execution and outcomes
  • Develop and execute a unified product and platform strategy that brings together Wealth capabilities (including Funds, Insurance & Retirement, Private Markets) into a cohesive, client-centric growth engine.
  • Translate data into direction by applying rigorous quantitative analysis to inform decisions, prioritize where we invest, and shape forward-looking growth narrative.
  • Maximize the business’s use of AI in daily operations and by identifying and pursuing AI‑driven opportunities that simplify workflows, unlock data insights, and accelerate innovation across the Wealth platform.
  • Shape a comprehensive strategic roadmap for Wealth in partnership with the product leads, identifying new market opportunities while unlocking cross-product synergies and expanding the client base through targeted initiatives.
  • Drive integration of product strategy with platform capabilities, ensuring alignment between technology investments, commercial objectives, and client outcomes to enhance adoption and scale (including with respect to the strategic platform).
  • Rationalize and modernize platform architecture by reducing fragmentation, standardizing capabilities, and enabling a more efficient, scalable and API-driven ecosystem in partnership with the Product Development Lead and Head of Technology.
  • Act as strategic advisor to general manager and broader leadership team both within Wealth and CSS more broadly.
  • Support the creation and execution of strategic business plans, including revenue targets, pricing strategies, and go-to-market approaches that embed commercial thinking into product and platform decisions
  • Identify and address capability gaps and operational inefficiencies, focusing on simplifying processes, eliminating duplication, and strengthening areas where the organization is not operating at its full potential
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulators, and industry partners to inform product and platform strategy, and represent DTCC Wealth externally, strengthening our voice and position as a trusted, forward-looking partner.
  • Incorporate transformative technologies (e.g., AI, digital assets) into platform and product strategy, ensuring innovation is integrated into existing infrastructure and delivers tangible client and operational value
  • Collaborate across Technology, Finance, Sales, Legal, Marketing, and HR to ensure end-to-end alignment between strategy, platform capabilities, and execution.
