About The Position

The Executive Director, Global Market Access & Pricing – Immunology is a senior leader responsible for setting and driving the global access, pricing, and reimbursement strategy across the Immunology therapeutic area. This role shapes enterprise-level strategy, influences development and investment decisions, and ensures alignment across Research & Development (R&D), Commercial, Policy, and global market access functions. Reporting to the Head of Global Pharma Market Access & Pricing, the Executive Director serves on the Pharma Access & Pricing leadership team and is accountable for maximizing long-term portfolio value by integrating access and pricing strategy across pipeline and in-line assets and enabling successful global launch and lifecycle execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead global payer value proposition development and integrated access & pricing strategy across the Immunology portfolio, including launch, lifecycle management, and long-range positioning aligned to enterprise priorities.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams including Commercial, Product Development Teams (PDTs), R&D, Finance, HEOR/Outcomes Research, Medical Affairs, Policy, Communications, and regional and country teams to shape long-term access strategy, clinical development, and evidence generation plans.
  • Influence development-stage strategy by shaping clinical design, endpoints, comparators, and evidence plans; ensure translation of clinical and economic evidence into compelling, payer-relevant value propositions supporting global access.
  • Anticipate environmental, policy, and competitive pressures and lead development of innovative pricing and access solutions, including partnership with Sustainable Access Solutions (SAS) and broader GMAx leadership.
  • Oversee payer and HTA insights, market research, and policy shaping, including 4th hurdle assessments, to inform investment decisions, launch readiness, and portfolio prioritization across markets and payer archetypes.
  • Serve as the owner of Immunology-level access & pricing strategy, including portfolio trade-offs, risk tolerance, escalation, governance, and compliance aligned with enterprise frameworks.
  • Ensure global launch readiness and lifecycle strategy across the Immunology portfolio, including country prioritization, scenario planning, competitive response, and long-term value realization.
  • Provide access assumptions and strategic input to support business development, portfolio strategy, and enterprise-wide prioritization decisions, including LROP integration and investment planning.
  • Build and lead a high-performing organization, including organizational design, capability building, and talent pipeline development across the Immunology access & pricing team.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment and enterprise influence, serving as a senior advisor to franchise and global leadership to ensure access strategy is embedded in commercial, development, and portfolio decisions.
