About The Position

Fox Ridge Bryant is a premier Assisted Living and Memory Care community in Bryant, Arkansas, part of the AgeWell Solvere Living family. The Executive Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations and occupancy of the managed community, including financial management, business planning, program development and evaluation, staff management, and delivering high-quality services to residents and their families. The role requires proactive communication with supervisors regarding any potential threats to the community and adherence to all regulations and company policies. The Executive Director will also lead the management team in supporting the mission and values of the organization and ensuring a positive first impression of the community.

Requirements

  • State required licensing and certification (if applicable).
  • Excellent customer service and public relations skills.
  • Experience working with seniors.
  • Experience in successfully operating and maintaining a customer-focused environment in a senior living facility.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Meets all current requirements of state regulations for licensed assisted living communities.
  • Demonstrated integrity and leadership skills.
  • Possesses a sincere passion for working with our senior population.
  • Physically able to bend and reach.
  • Physically able to push and pull and lift up to 40-50 pounds if necessary.
  • Physically able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Spends at least 30% of time on travel to referral sources in market area.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain ongoing compliance with local, state, federal, regulatory, and/or accrediting body standards.
  • Ensure the Community is prepared for regulatory inspections through regular auditing and updating of policies, medical records, and environmental standards.
  • Maintain monthly financial reports and explain variances.
  • Oversee departmental budgets and guide department heads on meeting budgetary guidelines.
  • Ensure timely collection of accounts receivables.
  • Implement systems and processes to continuously monitor quality of care, service delivery, and regulatory compliance.
  • Review quality indicator outcomes and address variances.
  • Optimize opportunities to generate revenue and ancillary revenue.
  • Maintain and increase occupancy in accordance with budget.
  • Promote staff participation and involvement in daily operations and decision-making.
  • Foster team building through participation and/or leadership at staff meetings.
  • Provide ongoing support, direction, supervision, and feedback on job performance to all staff.
  • Communicate with team members to ensure they are informed about potential questions from residents, families, and prospective residents.
  • Oversee recruitment, hiring, employee relations, and separations in accordance with administrative policy.
  • Ensure all staff files are created and maintained properly.
  • Coordinate the evaluation process, review evaluations, and complete evaluations for department heads.
  • Manage the disciplinary process throughout the Community.
  • Lead the management team in support of the mission and values of the organization.
  • Assure high-quality services as needed and desired by Residents.
  • Ensure Resident rights are protected and educate staff, Residents, and families about Resident rights.
  • Coordinate with the Wellness Director on the move-in process, ensuring leases and Resident Service Plans are coordinated and carried out.
  • Respond to family, resident, and team member requests in a timely manner.
  • Act as a liaison between management, Residents, and families.
  • Maintain competitive market analysis data and a detailed competitor comparative analysis.
  • Ensure timely and accurate use of Vitals within the Community.
  • Ensure the overall Community makes a positive first impression and resolve any presentation issues.
  • Maintain or grow occupancy to maximum levels.
  • Collaborate with department heads to emphasize the team’s role in sales and participation in the Community Marketing Action Plan and Sales Action Plan.
  • Assign Manager on Duty for weekend coverage as scheduled.
  • Represent the Community in public settings and promote the AgeWell Solvere Living Managed Community within the local community.
  • Ensure timely and accurate use of Sherpa within the Community.
  • Generate leads and assist in closing sales.
  • Enforce OSHA regulations and safety procedures.
  • Ensure full compliance with all laws and regulations related to the operation of an assisted living facility.
  • Follow all emergency procedures and understand safety policies and procedures.
  • Investigate and review all on-site injuries.
  • Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for all community departments.
  • Foster a culture of respect, collaboration, and resident-centered care.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and the greater Bryant community.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop department managers and staff to achieve service excellence.
  • Manage community financials to meet or exceed occupancy, revenue, and profitability goals.
  • Champion programs that enhance residents’ quality of life across Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care.
