About The Position

Our client is a well-established gaming and hospitality organization operating multiple high-volume entertainment and dining properties in the Baton Rouge market. With 24/7 operations, diverse food & beverage concepts, and a strong guest-focused environment, the organization continues to invest in growth, operational excellence, and elevated hospitality experiences. The Executive Director of Food & Beverage will oversee a large-scale, multi-unit food & beverage operation within a broader gaming and hospitality environment. This executive-level leader will be responsible for the overall performance of several dining, bar, and guest service venues across multiple properties, leading large teams in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. This role carries full operational accountability for the department, including front-of-house operations, financial performance, labor and cost controls, guest experience, leadership development, and strategic execution in partnership with senior property leadership. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of operational expertise, financial acumen, and hands-on leadership experience within complex hospitality environments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple food & beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, catering, and guest service operations.
  • Develop and execute operational initiatives focused on enhancing guest satisfaction, improving service standards, controlling costs, and increasing overall profitability.
  • Oversee budgeting, financial performance, labor management, inventory controls, and key operational metrics to support both short-term performance and long-term business objectives.
  • Lead workforce planning initiatives, including talent acquisition, retention, succession planning, employee engagement, and leadership development programs.
  • Drive operational excellence through training, coaching, performance management, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure all food safety, sanitation, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance standards are consistently maintained across all F&B operations.
  • Partner closely with executive leadership and support departments to align operational strategies with broader organizational goals.
  • Mentor and develop department leaders while fostering a high-performance, service-driven culture throughout the organization.
  • Monitor day-to-day operations to ensure efficient execution, elevated guest experiences, and consistent operational standards across all venues.
  • Support menu strategy, promotional initiatives, and service enhancements by analyzing market trends, guest preferences, seasonality, and financial performance.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement solutions related to staffing, guest experience, vendor management, inventory control, and service delivery.
  • Assist in planning and executing special events, promotions, and operational initiatives designed to improve revenue generation and guest engagement.
  • Maintain strong industry knowledge of food, beverage, hospitality, and emerging market trends through ongoing professional development and industry engagement.
