About The Position

The Learning Experience is the fastest-growing Academy of Early Education in the nation, dedicated to providing a platform for showcasing talents, sharing ideas, and advancing careers in Early Childhood Education. We are seeking a passionate individual with daycare or preschool experience to join our team as a Preschool Executive Director for Central New Jersey and surrounding areas. This role involves leading Early Childhood Education Centers, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing staff, implementing curriculum, driving business results, and engaging with families. Flexible work from home options are available.

Requirements

  • At least one year of center leadership/management experience (required).
  • Possess the state-specific Administrative or Director credential, as well as any other state-specific guidelines for the role.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.
  • Experience in daycare or preschool settings.

Nice To Haves

  • Two or more years of center leadership/management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example, displaying passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children and employees in the day care.
  • Create an environment of trust, rapport, and inclusivity, easily connecting with diverse groups of people.
  • Ensure that the physical center environment adheres to health and safety standard operating procedures, maintaining full compliance with local and state licensing regulations.
  • Build and maintain a highly qualified staff by actively sourcing, training, coaching, and engaging with current and prospective employees.
  • Guide teachers in implementing our proprietary curriculum, leveraging your passion for learning.
  • Drive consistent business results, measured through family retention and conversion, enrollment growth, and efficient business operations.
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable, generate monthly P&L reports, and oversee employee payroll.
  • Engage prospective families through both in-person and virtual center tours, effectively showcasing the benefits of our program.
  • Organize and execute community marketing events to raise awareness and drive enrollment.
  • Travel between designated locations as needed.
