About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a remote Executive Director, Business Development CLS to join our team. This role is responsible for leading a team of Business Development Directors focused on Central Lab Services and driving sales performance. The position plays a key role in expanding market presence, strengthening client relationships, and contributing to Labcorp’s financial performance. The role operates across a matrixed organization and partners closely with internal stakeholders and leadership teams.

Requirements

  • 10 years' experience selling services to pharmaceutical and biotech organizations with executive-level client interaction

Responsibilities

  • Achieve or exceed annual sales goals for the assigned team
  • Manage, coach, mentor, and guide Business Development Directors
  • Hire and develop diverse talent across the team
  • Assign accounts and territories and forecast contribution to global sales goals
  • Deliver team sales performance against established targets
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of team account plans
  • Partner with sales leaders across business units to develop client relationships and joint opportunities
  • Manage team performance and provide feedback and development planning
  • Monitor and control team operating expenses
  • Facilitate internal collaboration with operational partners
  • Identify and execute process improvement opportunities
  • Utilize SFDC to manage pipeline, forecasting, and sales metrics
  • Gather and communicate market intelligence and competitive insights
