About The Position
Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is seeking an Executive Director, Banking in New York, New York to lead coverage efforts of U.S. financial institution clients. This role involves leveraging and bolstering the Firm’s cross-departmental private credit initiative and broadening treasury dialogue. The position will also contribute to Canadian bank coverage to expand the Firm’s current footprint, oversee bond issuance and market considerations, and leverage and develop investor relationships to bolster the Private Placement franchise. Additionally, the role requires providing rating agency analysis, interest rate hedging, and derivatives expertise, utilizing proprietary Firm tools and systems for capital structure analysis, and complying with regional specifications relative to capital market bankers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field of study.
- Seven (7) years of experience in the position offered or seven (7) years as a Vice President, Associate, Analyst, or a related occupation.
- Seven (7) years of experience with bank balance sheets.
- Seven (7) years of experience with capital raising across capital structures.
- Seven (7) years of experience with financial modeling.
- Seven (7) years of experience with M&A, divestments, and rating agency modeling, particularly the impact on financial institutions’ balance sheets and income statements.
- Seven (7) years of experience presenting comprehensive solutions to clients.
- Seven (7) years of experience with data and statistical analysis.
- Seven (7) years of experience with Client and project management.
- Seven (7) years of experience with bank regulatory and ratings framework.
- Three (3) years of experience with modeling asset-liability management and derivatives.
- One (1) year of experience with sales across securities and loans.
Responsibilities
