About The Position

The Executive Director, Agentic Product Data Science leads the strategy and delivery of real-time analytics and agentic AI/ML capabilities for product and data science teams across Chase and JPMorganChase Wealth Management. The role owns customer-centric agentic use cases, leads an Agile solutioning team, and enables the development and operationalization of reusable data, model, and agent products. It helps shape how real-time data and AI are structured, governed, and managed in the cloud, with a focus on safely delivering customer experiences, decisioning, and insights at scale.

The role partners with Technology, Product, Risk, Controls, Legal/Compliance, AI/ML Centers of Excellence, and business stakeholders. It establishes practices for evaluating, monitoring, and governing agentic systems in real-time environments, improves the product delivery operating model, and communicates technical trade-offs and business impact to senior leaders. The position manages and develops a diverse, high-performing team of 8 or more, fostering an inclusive, high-integrity culture.

Consumer & Community Banking serves Chase customers across personal banking, credit cards, mortgages, auto financing, investment advice, small business lending, and payment processing. CCB Data & Analytics brings together data governance and strategy, reporting, data science and machine learning, and transformation capabilities, working closely with Technology to support customer and business outcomes.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications.
• Extensive knowledge of product development life cycles, technical design, and data analytics.
• Ability to influence adoption of product life cycle activities, including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
• Experience driving organizational change and managing stakeholders across multiple functions.
• Strong business acumen and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical topics to executive and non-technical audiences.
• Strong technical ability to understand, design, and explain real-time data strategies and agentic AI/ML product architectures to business partners and technical teams.
• Experience in data science, analytics, AI/ML, or related consulting, with evidence of measurable impact in production environments.
• Fluency in technical concepts and practices, with credibility to engage engineers and influence architecture and implementation decisions.
• Practical understanding of data science tools and concepts, including experience enabling data science teams and/or delivering data science products or use cases.
• Understanding of analytics and AI/ML in streaming or real-time contexts, including latency, reliability, observability, and model monitoring.
• At least 10 years of deep expertise in Agile delivery and product management best practices, particularly in transformation environments.
• Track record of influencing stakeholders to define workflows, decision rights, and guidelines, and to manage decisions throughout the delivery life cycle.
• Experience building and managing product backlogs, prioritizing to achieve OKRs, and maintaining alignment with applicable risk management and compliance standards.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize and communicate insights to peers and senior leaders.
• Superior stakeholder management across functions and seniority levels.
• Inspiring team leadership and interpersonal skills, emphasizing transparency, teamwork, high standards, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets.
• Lead the product life cycle from planning and execution through future development, adapting products and methodologies while managing risks and targets for cost, features, reusability, and reliability.
• Coach and mentor the product team in solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping, product adoption, and delivery.
• Own product performance and invest in enhancements that achieve business objectives.
• Monitor market trends, conduct competitive analysis, and identify opportunities for product differentiation.
• Own and execute the agentic product data science strategy for real-time analytics enablement across Chase and JPMorganChase Wealth Management, including a roadmap of prioritized use cases and platform capabilities.
• Lead an Agile solutioning team delivering end-to-end agentic AI/ML use cases, from discovery and experimentation through production launch, monitoring, and iteration.
• Design and incubate production-ready, reusable data and model assets, such as feature stores, streaming features, decision services, agent components, and evaluation suites.
• Partner with modeling teams and AI/ML Centers of Excellence to design performant, resilient agentic AI/ML use cases suitable for regulated environments.
• Establish and scale practices for agentic system evaluation, quality measurement, experimentation, safety and guardrails, human-in-the-loop controls, monitoring, drift detection, and incident response.
• Improve the operating model for agentic product delivery by streamlining intake, requirements, backlog practices, architecture patterns, and release governance.
• Partner with Technology, Product, Risk, Controls, Legal/Compliance as applicable, and business stakeholders to align on outcomes, constraints, and sequencing.
• Present findings, trade-offs, and recommendations to senior leaders, translating complex technical topics into clear decisions and business impact.
• Manage and develop a diverse, high-performing team of 8 or more, including coaching, talent development, and hiring, while fostering an inclusive and high-integrity culture.
