About The Position

Groom Law Group is seeking an experienced attorney to join our successful tax practice group focusing on executive compensation matters. Our firm’s extensive experience, collaborative approach and proven record of success make us the leaders in benefits, retirement, and health care law. Requirements

  • Relevant 8+ years of executive compensation experience
  • Strong analytical skills

  • Superior academic credentials
  • Exceptional writing ability

Responsibilities

  • Support the firm’s Retirement, Executive Compensation and Tax group.
  • Work on compliance-related matters involving traditional non-qualified deferred compensation plans subject to 409A, severance plans, equity plans, and other executive compensation programs and arrangements.
  • Provide general support for our work on qualified plans such as 401(k), profit-sharing, traditional defined benefit, and cash balance plans.
