About The Position

Reporting to the Director of Executive Compensation, this role supports the design, analysis, and administration of executive compensation programs. The Executive Compensation Analyst will play a key role in ensuring the effectiveness and compliance of these programs within the Mount Sinai Health System.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (modeling, data analysis, pivot tables)
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
  • 5+ years of Human Resource experience with at least 2 years in compensation, executive compensation, consulting, or finance/analytics preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with compensation surveys (e.g., Mercer, Radford) and governance best practices preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and analysis of executive compensation programs, including base salary, annual incentives, and long-term plans.
  • Prepare compensation benchmarking analyses using market survey data and peer group comparisons.
  • Maintain executive compensation data, systems, and reporting tools with a high level of accuracy.
  • Assist in the development of materials for the Compensation Committee of the Board of Trustees.
  • Execute tasks to ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal governance standards.
  • Model financial impact of compensation programs and proposed changes.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses and participate in projects and initiatives as needed.
