About The Position

Joint Strategic Technologies (JST) is seeking an Executive Coach to support our team. This is a full-time remote position with periodic on-site travel to Washington, D.C. This position is contingent based upon contract award.

Requirements

  • Current, active International Coaching Federation Professional Certified Coach (PCC) or Master Certified Coach (MCC) credential.
  • Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credentials do not meet the requirement.
  • Other coaching or leadership-development certifications do not substitute for the required PCC or MCC credential.
  • Training through an ICF-certified training program.
  • Familiarity with and eligibility/certification, where applicable, to administer and provide feedback for 360-degree feedback tools.
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Ability to provide proof of current ICF credentials.
  • Ability to maintain strict coaching confidentiality and comply with ICF ethical standards.
  • Availability and capacity to support DOT coaching requirements.
  • Ability to be identified by name as Key Personnel in the proposal.
  • PCC or MCC credential is required for team coaches.
  • MUST be able to successfully pass a drug screen and background check

Nice To Haves

  • ICF Advanced Certification in Team Coaching (ACTC), or a comparable team-coaching credential, may be provided in addition to the required PCC or MCC credential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide confidential one-on-one executive coaching to SES participants.
  • Conduct initial coaching intake discussions.
  • Establish coaching goals and objectives with participants.
  • Conduct individual 60-minute coaching sessions.
  • Conduct progress discussions and develop action steps supporting coaching objectives.
  • Provide final reflection or summary discussions, as appropriate.
  • Review existing leadership assessments, Executive Development Plans, and other relevant participant materials.
  • Administer appropriate leadership assessments and evaluation tools.
  • Review assessment results with participants.
  • Incorporate assessment findings into individualized coaching plans and development activities.
  • Provide developmental resources and support between coaching sessions, as appropriate.
  • Assist participants in developing strategies and action plans to apply coaching insights and sustain leadership improvements.
  • Provide team coaching to executive leadership teams and designated groups, as assigned.
  • Support team effectiveness, leadership alignment, communication, collaboration, conflict resolution, decision-making, and shared leadership goals.
  • Schedule coaching sessions directly with clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of scheduled appointments and coaching hours.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of individual and team coaching discussions.
  • Perform coaching services in accordance with ICF ethical standards and guidelines.
  • Support concurrent coaching requirements across multiple DOT Operating Administrations.
