About The Position

Tarina of Kingwood is seeking a talented Executive Chef to lead our culinary program and bring a refined dining experience to our assisted living community. This is an opportunity for a hospitality-driven leader to transform everyday meals into memorable experiences through elevated cuisine, thoughtful presentation, and exceptional service standards.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in culinary leadership or dining services management
  • Background in restaurant, hospitality, or upscale dining environments
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and kitchen operations
  • Experience managing budgets, inventory, and kitchen teams
  • Passion for creating an exceptional dining experience for residents and guests
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Applicants for this position must be able to produce a negative drug test.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of culinary operations, including kitchen leadership, staffing, and service execution
  • Design and implement restaurant-quality menus that balance nutrition, variety, and visual appeal
  • Elevate food presentation and dining atmosphere to reflect a high-end hospitality experience
  • Manage food purchasing, inventory, and cost controls while maintaining quality standards
  • Train and mentor kitchen team members to deliver consistent, high-level performance
  • Ensure adherence to health, sanitation, and safety regulations, maintaining audit readiness
  • Partner with community leadership to enhance resident satisfaction and dining engagement
