We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef who brings both strong operational leadership and culinary creativity: Passionate Culinary Service. Passionate Cleanliness. Passionate Care. Requirements

  • 2+ years of culinary experience (culinary training preferred)
  • At least 1 year of leadership experience (2+ years in food service management preferred)
  • Knowledge of state dietary regulations and food safety standards
  • A genuine passion for serving seniors and enhancing their dining experience
  • 5–10 years of kitchen leadership experience
  • Background in senior living, healthcare, or restaurant environments
  • Strong standards for food quality, consistency, and presentation
  • Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Familiarity with special diets (low sodium, diabetic, heart-healthy)

Nice To Haves

  • Current ServSafe Manager Certification

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the culinary team, creating a strong and accountable kitchen culture
  • Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and safety
  • Oversee food cost, inventory, and budget performance
  • Manage hiring, onboarding, and ongoing staff training
  • Build and maintain schedules that support operational needs
  • Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Partner on menu planning, special events, and resident-focused dining experiences
  • Support community engagement through food and hospitality
  • Managing high-volume kitchen operations
  • Menu development balancing flavor, nutrition, and cost
  • Proven labor management and scheduling skills
  • Strong inventory control and cost management experience
  • Train, coach, and develop kitchen staff
  • Hands-on leadership presence during service
