About The Position

Jake's Unlimited is looking for an experienced Executive Chef to lead and elevate our culinary operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on culinary leader who enjoys building high-performing teams, delivering exceptional food, and creating memorable guest experiences. You'll oversee every aspect of our kitchen operation—from restaurant service and catering to birthday celebrations, banquets, and corporate events—while helping shape the future of one of Arizona's premier hospitality destinations. Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive culinary leadership experience
  • Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager, Culinary Manager, or similar leadership experience
  • Strong scratch kitchen background
  • Experience leading high-volume, made-to-order kitchen operations
  • Proven success managing food cost, labor, purchasing, and inventory
  • Outstanding leadership, coaching, and communication skills
  • ServSafe Manager Certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with catering, banquets, hospitality, or multi-concept food operations is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily kitchen operations and ensure exceptional food quality and consistency
  • Develop, coach, and inspire a high-performing culinary team
  • Execute and continuously refine our culinary program and operating standards
  • Manage food cost, labor, purchasing, inventory, and vendor relationships
  • Oversee restaurant service, catering, banquets, birthday parties, and special events
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
  • Partner with senior leadership to improve operations and drive financial performance
  • Build a positive, accountable, and team-focused kitchen culture
  • Lead the development and rollout of a new a la carte menu and premium catering menu in partnership with senior leadership and our culinary team
