The Executive Chef is responsible for developing and ensuring compliance with standard recipes and production methods, generating maximum financial performance for all outlets through effective cost control management, and ensuring the production of consistently high-quality food. This role also involves maintaining and improving the cleanliness, kitchen safety, and food quality levels in all outlets, planning and coordinating all hot and cold food production, and inspecting all food and beverage products for quality, proper specifications, and portion control. The Executive Chef will hire, train, develop, and direct kitchen staff using approved management practices, oversee multiple outlets simultaneously, and act as a role model adhering to all department/company policies and procedures. The position requires the ability to perform all culinary tasks at all Cook levels, conduct performance reviews, handle employee complaints, and complete administrative duties such as counseling, reviews, and budgeting. Additionally, the role involves supervising and monitoring work, ensuring legal compliance with federal, state, and gaming laws, and upholding the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy. Team members are expected to participate in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions, get along with co-workers, work as a team, present a well-groomed, professional appearance, meet attendance guidelines, and comply with all state, federal, and regulatory policies and procedures. The role requires the ability to work a varied schedule including holidays, nights, and weekends as needed, and a reasonable amount of overtime when required.
