Gecko Hospitality is now searching for an experienced and motivated Executive Chef in the Broomfield area for a new restaurant opening! The ideal Executive Chef is a team-oriented leader who builds and motivates the culinary staff, fosters a collaborative kitchen culture, ensures every dish is timely and exceeds guest expectations, and drives menu innovation with a relentless commitment to excellence. Requirements

Minimum of 4-5 years current experience as an Executive Chef in an upscale casual restaurant
High volume background - must have Executive Chef experience in establishments doing over $5 million in sales per year
Ability to maintain high levels of food quality, consistency, and hygiene
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Hands-on with hiring, training, and developing hourly employees
Excellent work ethic and drive to succeed
Executive Chef candidates must be proficient with financials (P&L's, inventory, food/labor cost, etc.)
Must be able to train out of state for this position

Responsibilities

Lead, hire, manage, and mentor all culinary staff while fostering a collaborative, team-oriented kitchen culture built on constructive feedback
Ensure every dish is executed on time, to standard, and exceeds guest expectations
Motivate and inspire the team to consistently deliver remarkable cuisine with a commitment to excellence
Maintain final quality control over every plate leaving the kitchen
