Responsibilities

  • Providing superior service and modeling professionalism to all Arbor Day Farm guests, internal and external, always.
  • Selecting, training, leading, developing and inspiring a talented culinary team, including managers, to ensure individual and team success.
  • Soliciting guest and internal feedback and taking proactive measures to ensure the highest levels of guest and team member satisfaction, loyalty, engagement, and advocacy.
  • Design and create. You will be an intracule part of our Farm to Fork initiatives, expanding our garden and offerings through restaurant and catering menus that tell the properties story.
  • Work a schedule that flexes with business needs and the operational demands of the kitchen, while maintaining a visible leadership presence throughout the workweek.
  • Attends required meetings to foster collaboration, strengthen relationships with leaders and stakeholders, and ensure departmental administrative responsibilities are completed accurately and on time.
  • Communicating schedule changes due to events taking place outside of regular business hours to ensure your team is supported in a consistent manner.
  • Provide visionary culinary leadership focused on creating memorable dining experiences by developing menus and preparing food that reflects our guests' tastes and preferences while consistently striving to serve the highest quality food, food our guests will remember as the best they have ever had.
