Executive Chef 2
About The Position
Sodexo Senior Living is seeking an Executive Chef 2 for The Keele Center, in Delray Beach, Florida. This is a 5-star, state-of-the-art luxury community with a medical detox unit, an Older Adult residential treatment program, residential treatment programming for affluent individuals, as well as neurocognitive services, research, and medical education. This account operates on a luxury resort platform with a fine dining level atmosphere and attention to detail. This Executive Chef will oversee the dining operations for the Keele Center and will support an off-site residential unit with private dining. Dining operations are restaurant style including made-to-order meals and high-end buffets. Will manage a staff of approximately 20 employees. Typical shift will be 10:00 am- 7:00pm, may vary, including one weekend day and some holidays.
Requirements
- Prior executive chef experience in high-end dining and catering
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of standards and implements company policies
- Strong management and hospitality skills
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
- 2 years minimum management experience
- 2 years minimum functional experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Responsibilities
- Manage the daily food production including production planning and controls
- Ensure Sodexo Culinary Standards including recipe compliance and food quality
- Manage food costing, controls and compliance
- Develop menus and manage inventory
- Develop and train front-line employees
