About The Position

As the Executive Chef, you'll be the driving force behind the success of our dining services in a high-end senior living community. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in enhancing the overall well-being of senior residents. Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role.
  • 3 - 5+ years of progressive culinary and kitchen management experience.
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and HACCP principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a diverse culinary team.
  • Creative flair for menu development with a focus on quality and presentation.
  • Proficient in kitchen management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • ServSafe certification is required.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Successful candidates must meet eligibility criteria, including the ability to undergo and successfully complete a criminal background check and drug screen in accordance with applicable State laws and regulations.
  • Ability to provide documents for work authorization.
  • We utilize E-Verify, an online system that allows us to confirm the eligibility of our employees to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Culinary degree or equivalent formal training and experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Experience in high-volume, upscale dining environments is a plus.

  • Leads and manages all aspects of kitchen operations to ensure seamless and efficient service.
  • Implements and maintains stringent food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Manages food and labor costs to achieve financial targets and operational excellence.
  • Mentors, coaches, and develops kitchen staff to foster a culture of culinary excellence.
  • Collaborates with the management team to contribute to overall strategic planning and business success.
  • Oversees the procurement of high-quality ingredients and maintains vendor relationships.
  • Stays abreast of culinary trends and continuously elevates our offerings.
