About The Position

Develop and increase high-end player profitability by building strong professional relationships, actively acquiring new VIP business, encouraging club card utilization, and providing superior service and recognition. This role is responsible for attending to the gaming amenities of the top 1% of the casino’s database, building strong relationships with their personal list of players, and driving year-over-year revenue growth for their coded players. The Executive Host is entrusted with the highest complimentary authority of all hosts and is responsible for the development of high theoretical new members. This position also assists with planning, coordination, and execution of events, promotions, and sales initiatives designed to attract and maintain high-end players. The role involves planning and attending on and off-site VIP events, administering reward program benefits, and providing personalized sales and service to VIP guests. Maintaining aggressive contact with assigned VIP guests via telemarketing, written correspondence, email, and personal interaction is crucial, as is consistently delivering on all departmental and individual sales goals. The Executive Casino Host serves as a player expert for casino gaming, simulcasting, and racing.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Proficient in English verbal and written with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical data, financial reports, and internal controls.
  • Ability to respond professionally to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, staff, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to write letters and promotional materials for distribution or publication that conform to a prescribed style and format.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree from two to four-year college; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ability to push/pull or lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally push/pull or lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to regularly use hands to finger, handles, or feel and talk or hear.
  • Specific vision abilities such as close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period.
  • Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a license from the Indiana Gaming Commission and Indiana Horse Racing Commission.
  • Will require access to all general areas of the gaming and racing facility, back-of-house areas and access to Patron Management data base and marketing strategies.
