About The Position

Kimley-Horn, one of Fortune Magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For,” has an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Executive Assistant in our Alpharetta, Georgia (GA) office. We are looking for an initiative-taking, detail-oriented professional to provide a high level of administrative support to a team of regional senior executives. You will play a vital part in supporting various marketing projects and programs. You will also collaborate closely with a team of Regional Administrative Assistants who assist our firm’s leadership. Ultimately, you will be a key contributor to our regional leadership team, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently. This is an in-office role. Hybrid and remote schedules are not available.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 or more years of relevant experience supporting a senior executive team, or
  • Associate's degree and a minimum of 6 or more years of relevant experience supporting a senior executive team, or
  • High school diploma and a minimum of 9 or more years of relevant experience supporting a senior executive team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to build working relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in Concur and the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and Outlook
  • Strong time-management skills and an ability to organize and coordinate multiple concurrent projects
  • An aptitude for learning new software and systems, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Problem-solving mindset, with a resourceful can-do attitude
  • Flexible team player, willing to adapt to changes and unafraid of challenges

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a corporate environment is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage the regional leadership team’s travel logistics and activities, including accommodations, transportation, and meals
  • Coordinate complex scheduling and calendar management, as well as content and flow of information for the regional leadership team
  • Partner with the regional leadership team to schedule meetings, trainings, and activities
  • Supply administrative support to special projects and programs
  • Build strong working relationships with other administrative staff and senior leaders
  • Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality of information related to the firm and its employees
  • Organize team communications and plan events, both internal and off-site
  • Occasionally travel (5%-10%) as needed to support meetings and events, typically for 1-2 days at a time
