About The Position

Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is seeking an Executive Assistant (EA) to support Managing Director & Partners (MDPs) in their Silicon Valley - Mountain View, CA office. This role is crucial for ensuring MDPs have the necessary support to serve clients and meet internal commitments. The EA will anticipate needs, manage complex schedules, handle end-to-end travel planning, and track time and expenses. The position involves a 30-day in-office onboarding period, followed by a hybrid work model requiring 3 to 5 days in the office per week. BCG emphasizes in-person work for culture, mentorship, and professional development. EAs contribute to office culture, collaborate with Business Services Team (BST) members, and serve as role models for junior administrative staff. The role offers growth opportunities in event planning, affiliation engagement, case team logistics, client relationship building, and time management optimization. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership and/or customer service experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a fast-paced environment, supporting senior executives, strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage case team logistics.
  • Manage complex schedules, including internal and external meetings.
  • Provide end-to-end ownership of travel planning.
  • Keep track of time and expenses.
  • Support administrative aspects of MDP internal commitments, including practice area activities, BCG leadership committees, and recruiting.
  • Build effective working relationships with MDPs, clients and their assistants, EA and AA peers, and BST peers and internal resources.
  • Assist with account planning and client relationship management.
  • Conduct research and gather information.
  • Assist with the creation and preparation of client team materials, including slides, proposals, and onboarding decks, involving proofreading and copying/binding.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required, including some personal support.
  • Act as a thought partner and trusted advisor to MDPs, their teams, and others at BCG.
  • Keep MDPs informed of critical information.
  • Guide MDPs in making decisions about the use of their time.
  • Take initiative to bring important items to the forefront for MDPs.
  • Actively participate in office life and collaborate across functions to help fellow Business Services Team (BST) members.
  • Serve as role models to more junior members of the Admin team.

  • Base salary range: $88,000 - $109,000.
