The Executive Assistant (EA) provides high-level administrative and strategic support to the President, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, alignment on priorities, and consistent follow-through. This role acts as a trusted partner—managing schedules, communications, and workflows while using sound judgment to anticipate needs and support decision-making. The EA takes a proactive approach to tracking commitments, synthesizing information, and keeping priorities on track. Success in this role requires discretion, emotional intelligence, and an awareness of the dynamics within a multi-generational, family-owned business. ADDITIONAL CONTEXT (EA ROLE IN A FAMILY BUSINESS) Maintain awareness of organizational history and context, helping ensure continuity and informed decision-making. Demonstrate sensitivity to family and leadership dynamics while maintaining professionalism and discretion. Support the President in balancing executive and family-facing responsibilities, ensuring clear and appropriate communication. Exercise care in navigating long-tenured relationships and informal influence structures across the organization.
