About The Position

The American Society of Radiologic Technologists is seeking an executive assistant to be a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional administrative support. In this role, you’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, helping ensure operations run smoothly, efficiently and professionally. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable and an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for continuous improvement. Beyond executive support responsibilities, this position plays an important role in enhancing operational effectiveness by evaluating existing processes, improving workflows, maintaining clear process documentation, and supporting training and cross-training initiatives across teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of experience in an administrative position preferred.
  • Some college, up to a bachelor’s degree.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Outlook and Word.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with people of influence.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize appropriately and follow directions.
  • Advanced organizational skill set.
  • Natural desire to be proactive, build rapport and use diplomacy and tact.

Nice To Haves

  • working knowledge of Monday.com, Canva, or JotForm is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general and high-level administrative duties and support to keep processes and projects updated and on target.
  • Complete data entry, conduct research, handle information requests, prepare correspondence, create or update documents or reports, and perform other clerical duties.
  • Assist with availability polling, schedule meetings, reserve resources, and gather, update and distribute meeting materials.
  • Create, use, and maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions that result in functions being well organized, documented and completed accurately per established departmental policies and procedures.
  • Suggest process improvements to streamline work and eliminate gaps and redundancies.
  • Communicate, train and support cross-departmental initiatives and provide guidance to peers.
  • Provide back-up support for other staff as required.
