Compass is recruiting for an Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive support to our leadership team out of our Dallas office. This is a role for a highly organized, proactive professional who takes pride in keeping the details running smoothly so our executives can focus on what matters most. You'll be the connective tissue of the executive team — managing calendars, coordinating travel and events, preparing polished documents, and serving as a trusted point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an executive assistant or in a similar administrative support role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities seamlessly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Proactive and able to anticipate needs before they arise.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain composure under pressure.
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative, humble approach — a natural fit for Compass's culture of stewardship and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage executive calendars, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, responding to inquiries and drafting communications on behalf of the executive team.
  • Organize and prepare meeting materials, capture minutes, and follow up on action items. Coordinate details for team meetings, summits, and events — including travel, agenda creation, calendaring, and catering.
  • Arrange and coordinate travel itineraries, accommodations, and logistics for executive team members and for candidates traveling in for interviews.
  • Draft, edit, and proofread documents, presentations, and reports, ensuring accuracy in all materials produced for the executive team.
  • Track, reconcile, and submit executive team expense reports accurately and on time.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and a high level of professionalism.
  • Provide administrative support for special projects and initiatives led by the executive team.
  • Support Dallas office events and activities and share in weekly Dallas office administrative tasks (e.g., coffee and popcorn machine setup, and other Dallas-based events).
