About The Position

This is not a traditional administrative position. As Executive Assistant to the General Manager of Cabot Cape Breton and Vice President (Americas), you will have a front-row seat to the leadership and operations of a globally recognized luxury hospitality brand. You will work directly with a senior executive responsible for one of Canada's most celebrated resorts while gaining exposure to business strategy, operations, project management, communications, and executive decision-making. This role is ideal for a recent university graduate or early-career professional who is highly organized, eager to learn, and looking to accelerate their professional development through direct exposure to senior leadership. The Executive Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the General Manager/Vice President and helping ensure the smooth operation of a dynamic executive office. The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems, managing multiple priorities, and building strong relationships across all levels of an organization.

Requirements

  • Recent graduates in Business, Commerce, Hospitality, Communications, Human Resources, Tourism, Public Relations, or related fields are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a complex and dynamic executive calendar.
  • Coordinating travel, accommodations, transportation, and itineraries.
  • Organizing meetings, executive visits, conferences, and special events.
  • Preparing correspondence, presentations, and meeting materials.
  • Acting as a key point of coordination between departments, leadership teams, and external partners.
  • Managing expenses and supporting reporting processes.
  • Assisting with special projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Supporting communication and collaboration between the Cabot Cape Breton team and Cabot's corporate office.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, organization, and administrative processes.
  • Representing Cabot's values through professionalism, positivity, and exceptional service.
