About The Position

Join Leidos as an Executive Assistant at our Global Headquarters in Reston, VA, where you’ll serve as a trusted partner to a senior executive and play an important role in keeping priorities, communications, and operations moving forward. The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to a senior Leidos executive. This is a highly visible position requiring exceptional professionalism, discretion, judgment, organization, and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will regularly interact with C-Suite executives, senior leaders, employees, customers, and other internal and external stakeholders. A high degree of confidentiality is essential to this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred, with 11+ years of progressively responsible administrative support experience, including experience supporting senior executives. Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting executives in a complex, fast-paced organization.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully collaborating with other executive assistance and colleagues across organizational components to achieve results.
  • Exceptional professionalism, discretion, judgment, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization, as well as customers and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex executive calendars, meetings, and travel.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate needs, identify issues, and independently develop solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to a senior executive, including complex calendar management, meeting coordination, correspondence, expense reporting, and travel arrangements.
  • Manage and prioritize the executive’s schedule, using sound judgment and collaboration to ensure appropriate allocation of time and attention.
  • Coordinate meetings and events involving senior leaders and internal and external stakeholders, including preparation of agendas, materials, and logistics.
  • Draft and prepare correspondence, presentations, reports, and other materials as needed.
  • Anticipate needs, identify potential issues, and independently resolve administrative matters whenever possible.
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment when handling sensitive or confidential information.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for the executive and effectively communicate and coordinate with leaders and administrative professionals across the enterprise.
  • Manage special projects and complex assignments, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Build strong working relationships across the organization and help facilitate effective communication and coordination.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
