Requirements

  • Associate's degree in business, health care, or a related field or a High School diploma or equivalent (GED) combined with an Executive Assistant Certification and a minimum of two (2) years' administrative experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
  • Three (3) years' experience in progressively responsible administrative or executive assistant roles, including experience supporting senior-level executives in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, health care or a related field.
  • Two (2) years’ experience working in HMO, PPO, and Managed Care functions.
  • One (1) year of experience supporting a Board of Directors or corporate governance function.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct administrative and operational support to the Market President of McLaren Health Plan.
  • Manages calendar and travel.
  • Facilitates Board and Executive Team meeting functions.
  • Handles company correspondence.
  • Coordinates special projects.
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders including Board Members, senior leaders, stakeholders, vendors, and community and regulatory contacts.
  • Is regularly entrusted with highly confidential and sensitive information.
  • Independently executes tasks to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified and fast-changing workload.
  • Drives improvements to office practices and procedures.
