About The Position

Xtreme Powerline Construction Inc., a leading Michigan-based electrical distribution utility contractor partnering with Aecon Utilities Inc., is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant. This role will provide comprehensive, high-level administrative support to the President of a fast-growing, multi-state utility contracting business. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in a company that is expanding rapidly and diversifying into new work streams across the United States. The ideal candidate will act as a strategic partner, managing complex calendars, ensuring priorities are handled seamlessly, and maintaining confidentiality in all matters. Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years supporting senior executives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High emotional intelligence, adaptability, and resilience under pressure.
  • Ability to anticipate needs and proactively solve problems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage dynamic calendars, meetings, and travel arrangements for the President.
  • Coordinate logistics for business and personal commitments, including detailed travel briefs.
  • Serve as the first point of contact, screening calls, emails, and requests with professionalism.
  • Draft, edit, and proofread correspondence, presentations, and briefing materials.
  • Assist with client pricing submissions and business documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in all communications and decisions.
  • Support clerical tasks, including managing spreadsheets and inputting items into accounting software.
  • Organize and prepare materials for meetings, client engagements, and events.
  • Track priorities, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Handle personal errands and tasks that support the President’s productivity and well-being.
