About The Position

We are seeking an Executive Assistant for our CEO in a high-visibility, dynamic role that transcends a typical administrative function. This is a unique opportunity for an early career candidate to quickly learn the inner workings of a company at the intersection of e-commerce and entertainment. You will provide essential administrative support to the CEO, primarily through calendar management, coordinating meetings and travel, and overseeing a variety of important projects. The long-term goal of this position is to grow into a Chief of Staff-type role, allowing you to assist the CEO with other key business areas, including People & Recruiting, Editorial, Supply Chain, Creative, and Growth. Our ideal candidate possesses an exceptionally strong work ethic, is eager to learn through an apprenticeship-style model, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.

Requirements

  • A desire and interest in gaining business experience working directly with an entrepreneurial CEO.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through; ability to perform tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the CEO to coordinate and manage calendar and travel logistics in a high quality manner.
  • Interface on scheduling with internal team members, external parties, and vendors.
  • Over time, learn to prioritize meetings, scope length, vet agendas and make sure appropriate information is provided ahead of time.
  • Assist the CEO with preparing for various projects and meetings, including: drafting of agendas, documents, and presentations.
  • Build strong relationships with the CEO and other members of the leadership team through consistent follow through and urgency.
  • Over time, administer various project management and execution across other business groups with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Respond to requests with urgency, which may occur outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Be in the office 5 days a week so that you can interface frequently with the CEO’s team to solve problems and make things run smoother and faster.
