Executive Assistant & Operations Lead

FurtherAI is building the AI Workspace for Insurance, empowering underwriters, brokers, and carriers to automate routine work so they can focus on higher-value decisions. We’re seeking an Executive Assistant & Operations Lead to partner directly with our founders and leadership team to keep FurtherAI running at top speed. In this role, you will take ownership of key operations and administrative tasks, help drive strategic initiatives, and ensure smooth execution day-to-day. Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as an executive assistant, operations lead, or similar role (startup or high-growth environment preferred)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and people skills
- Able to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and operate independently
- Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving ability
- Experience handling confidential information with discretion
- Comfort with ambiguity and fast-changing priorities
- Proficiency in Google Workspace & modern productivity tools (Notion, Slack, Asana, etc.)
- Based in San Francisco and available for in-person work
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks for the executive team, including scheduling, travel, and correspondence
- Support operations across functions: HR, recruiting, team events, office coordination, vendor management
- Facilitate internal communications, meeting prep, agendas, and follow-ups
- Partner with leadership on key projects, research, and process improvements
- Own logistics for team offsites, board meetings, and other critical events
- Track and report project milestones, ensuring deadlines are met
- Help execute onboarding, culture, and team engagement initiatives
- Build and improve processes as we grow, from documentation to workflow optimization
