About The Position

As an Executive Assistant, Commercial, you’ll be part of our Commercial team working as a hybrid employee. You’ll get to provide executive-level administrative and operational support to multiple Vice Presidents and Executives across the commercial leadership team. You will manage highly active, complex calendars; schedule internal and external meetings across multiple time zones; protect leadership time; and identify creative, resourceful scheduling solutions. You will also coordinate complex domestic and international travel, including itineraries, agendas, accommodations, travel meeting materials, expense reporting, and related logistics. Additionally, you will prepare, edit, format, and distribute presentations, reports, agendas, correspondence, letters, memos, Excel files, charts, and other meeting or business materials. You will support leadership meetings by coordinating logistics, preparing materials, capturing action items, and following up on deliverables. You will proactively manage business rhythm planning, ensuring core business meetings are scheduled and all logistics and pre-meeting requirements are addressed. You will monitor and prioritize incoming communications, responding or escalating urgent matters as appropriate. You will serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the commercial Vice Presidents. You will handle sensitive and confidential information with a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment. You will plan and coordinate events, team meetings, off-sites, leadership sessions, and the annual President’s Club trip. You will partner closely with Executive Assistants and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve scheduling challenges and improve coordination. You will prioritize conflicting demands, work proactively and expeditiously, and drive projects through to successful completion under tight deadlines. You will support budget tracking, purchase orders, invoices, and other administrative processes as needed. You will maintain organized digital files, records, and documentation. You will identify and implement opportunities to improve administrative processes and enhance team efficiency.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in an Executive Assistant, Senior Administrative, or similar support role.
  • Experience supporting multiple senior leaders for a publicly traded, global company, preferably in Human Resources or a corporate environment.
  • Proven ability to manage complex schedules and priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Expert Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; and experience with travel systems and expense reimbursement procedures.
  • Experience with expense management, travel coordination, and meeting logistics.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in response to changing business needs.
  • Impeccable communicator and representative for Stanley Black & Decker, both in verbal and written communication.
  • Professional and positive demeanor and executive presence.
  • Demonstrated proactive approach to problem-solving with strong and independent decision-making capability.
  • Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently.
  • Excellent analytical, time-management, and project management skills.
