It also involves composing and processing correspondence, screening calls, directing patron inquiries, gathering data, maintaining filing systems, scheduling appointments, and preparing materials for Board of Education meetings. The role includes transcribing board minutes, distributing policy updates, providing clerical support for publications and website maintenance, compiling data for reports, processing salary movement documents, and coordinating special events. The Executive Assistant and Clerk of the Board must react positively to change and interruptions, communicate effectively, and work cooperatively with the school district and community.
