About The Position

The Executive Assistant 3 (EA3) will provide high-level executive administrative support to the labs of the professors who take on the role of Department Chair and/or Director in the Department of Anatomy, the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, and the Organized Research Unit, Hooper Foundation; as well as the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for the Department of Anatomy, the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, and the Organized Research Unit, Hooper Foundation. Additionally, the EA3 will provide administrative support to 3-4 additional faculty members across the Department of Anatomy, the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, and the Organized Research Unit, Hooper Foundation as assigned. The incumbent will independently support the Chairs and/or Directors of the Department of Anatomy, the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, and the Organized Research Unit, Hooper Foundation in all areas related to the Chair’s responsibilities, their independent research laboratory, and national/international programs, events, committees, and editorial boards. For a senior manager (i.e. Department Chairs and Chief Administrative Officer), ensures administrative processes and office operations run smoothly. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

Requirements

  • High-level executive administrative support experience.
  • Experience supporting Department Chairs and/or Directors.
  • Experience supporting Chief Administrative Officers.
  • Experience supporting faculty members.
  • Experience managing administrative processes and office operations.
  • Ability to demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level executive administrative support to professors serving as Department Chair and/or Director in the Department of Anatomy, Department of Microbiology and Immunology, and Hooper Foundation.
  • Provide administrative support to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for the Department of Anatomy, Department of Microbiology and Immunology, and Hooper Foundation.
  • Provide administrative support to 3-4 additional faculty members as assigned.
  • Independently support Chairs and/or Directors in all areas related to their responsibilities, independent research laboratory, and national/international programs, events, committees, and editorial boards.
  • Ensure administrative processes and office operations run smoothly for senior managers.
  • Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
