About The Position

The primary responsibility of the Executive – Asian Marketing is to maximize customer development (new and existing) of high end Asian Clientele; including prospecting, promotions, events, and additional customer relationship management activity. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures. This role involves setting and maintaining high standards of service and practices throughout the property, working closely with the Executive Director Asian Marketing to maintain a positive working environment, and responding to customer requests, concerns, and complaints in a timely and complete manner. The Executive will work proactively with other departments within marketing and with other divisions at The Venetian, focusing on Team Member acquisition and retention programs. The position requires balancing financial control with The Venetian's standards and values, clearly communicating daily goals to subordinates, and diligently focusing on customer development. Additional duties include assisting with collections and player management, being continuously aware of current and forecast financial/business performance, and actively involved in analyzing and implementing required changes. The role also involves managing staff and organizing department functions in accordance with company guidelines, delegating tasks and projects, meeting deadlines, focusing on achieving departmental goals using available resources, evaluating schedules, and developing staff skills to enhance department effectiveness and manage resources to eliminate excess cost. Safety and consistent, regular attendance are essential functions.

Requirements

  • 21 years of age
  • Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States
  • High school Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an alcohol awareness card (TAM), gaming registration, and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy.
  • 1+ year of experience as a casino host.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese).
  • Must demonstrate extensive knowledge of high end casino clientele pay habits and preferences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

  • Previous experience with a Las Vegas Strip casino preferred.
