RMC is hiring an Executive Administrative Assistant to support our Navy customer in Indian Head, MD.

Requirements

  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required to start. Applicants selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Candidate must possess an Associate’s degree with five (5) years of relevant experience performing administrative duties or a High School diploma with seven (7) years of relevant experience performing administrative duties.
  • Candidate must have excellent proficiency using the following Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • This position will require the candidate to perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties, which are auxiliary to the work of the organization.
  • Candidate must be a qualified typist and know the principles and practices of office management.
  • Candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills and must provide customer service both internally and externally.

Responsibilities

  • Tracking all Department actions, ensuring that due dates are met and that the appropriate Points of Contact (POCs) are assigned and aware of their responsibilities
  • Serving as the central POC for all inquiries related to department actions, providing guidance and interpretation to all stakeholders
  • Facilitating communication between the Department Head, Deputy, and other department personnel
  • Acting as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear and consistent communication on all department actions
  • Tracking and managing the Department's records, purchase files, and correspondence
  • Preparing correspondence and managing the department's business correspondence
  • Performing daily maintenance of the Department information, including updating the organization chart and phone listing
  • Participating in the development and collection of data for departmental data calls, metrics analysis, and quality assurance
  • Supporting the department's reviews by ensuring all submissions are of high-quality and adhere to the standard format
  • Assisting in data collection efforts for data calls from DoD, DASN, NAVSEA HQs, and other entities
  • Assisting with Building Facility tickets/custodian duties
  • Supporting human capital/resource planning, including tracking hiring, promotion, and separation actions
  • Other administrative duties as required
