About The Position

Resource Management Concepts, Inc. (RMC) is seeking an Executive Administrative Assistant to support their Navy customer in Indian Head, MD. This role involves managing departmental actions, serving as a central point of contact for inquiries, facilitating communication, and maintaining records and correspondence. The position also includes data collection for various reports, assisting with facility tickets, supporting human capital planning, and performing other administrative duties as required. An active DoD Secret clearance is necessary for this role.

Requirements

  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required to start.
  • Associate’s degree with five (5) years of relevant experience performing administrative duties or a High School diploma with seven (7) years of relevant experience performing administrative duties.
  • Excellent proficiency using the following Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Qualified typist
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of office management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must provide customer service both internally and externally
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Tracking all Department actions, ensuring that due dates are met and that the appropriate Points of Contact (POCs) are assigned and aware of their responsibilities
  • Serving as the central POC for all inquiries related to department actions, providing guidance and interpretation to all stakeholders
  • Facilitating communication between the Department Head, Deputy, and other department personnel
  • Acting as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear and consistent communication on all department actions
  • Tracking and managing the Department's records, purchase files, and correspondence
  • Preparing correspondence and managing the department's business correspondence
  • Performing daily maintenance of the Department information, including updating the organization chart and phone listing
  • Participating in the development and collection of data for departmental data calls, metrics analysis, and quality assurance
  • Supporting the department's reviews by ensuring all submissions are of high-quality and adhere to the standard format
  • Assisting in data collection efforts for data calls from DoD, DASN, NAVSEA HQs, and other entities
  • Assisting with Building Facility tickets/custodian duties
  • Supporting human capital/resource planning, including tracking hiring, promotion, and separation actions
  • Other administrative duties as required
