About The Position

This Executive Administrative Assistant is a full-time position providing support primarily to the Program Manager of the NASA Kennedy Space Center Propellants and Life Support Services (KPLSS II) contract onsite at Kennedy Space Center FL and will also support the management leadership team as needed. KPLSS II provides management, engineering, and technical expertise for liquid propellants, gases, special fluids, and related equipment and services on KSC and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS) in support of launch operations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, plus seven years of related experience; or an associate’s degree with four years of experience.
  • Excellent and accurate verbal and written communication skills.
  • External and internal customer interface skills that foster good relationships with customers, clients, co-workers, and management.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficient experience with usual office equipment such as computers, printers, phones, etc. and the ability to resolve issues with those.
  • Proficient experience with Microsoft Office products, and Internet browsers.
  • Must be dependable and punctual.
  • On rare occasions may be required to work overtime, to include weekends.
  • U. S. Citizenship required for unescorted access to restricted assigned work area(s).
  • Must be able to successfully pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
  • If required, must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • A valid driver's license to independently drive onto and around Kennedy Space Center.

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive-level administrative support, including scheduling meetings, coordinating calendars, and booking conference rooms.
  • Prepare for meetings by arranging catering, audiovisual needs, agendas, and taking minutes.
  • Create and format documents, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Maintain and update databases, spreadsheets, and records related to projects, budgets, and personnel.
  • Assist in preparing reports, tracking award nominations, and coordinating award presentations.
  • Manage program documentation, track progress where required, and facilitate communication between teams.
  • Maintain confidential records and ensure accessibility for authorized personnel.
  • May assist with handling office supply inventory, processing orders, and managing office equipment.
  • Assist with travel arrangements and reimbursement requests.
  • Distribute internal communications and ensure compliance with organizational procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
