Executive Administrative Assistant

LufCoAberdeen, MD

About The Position

We aren't looking for a traditional "assistant." We are looking for a high-leverage Executive Business Partner who serves as the force multiplier for our C-suite. Your role is to bridge the gap between vision and execution, ensuring that our leadership team stays focused on high-value growth while you manage the friction of corporate operations. You will be the primary gatekeeper, a strategic fixer, and the "connective tissue" that ensures corporate opportunities move from conversation to completion. In this position, you aren't just "helping"—you are optimizing. By removing administrative friction and smoothing the path for corporate opportunities, you directly impact the company’s bottom line and the speed at which we can scale. We value "low ego, high impact" individuals. If you enjoy being the behind-the-scenes architect of a successful executive team, we want to hear from you. Our ideal candidate has demonstratable experience supporting executives within DOD government contracting firms.

Requirements

  • 7+ years supporting C-level executives, ideally in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
  • 5+ years within government contracting.
  • Unshakeable under pressure. You don't just find problems; you bring three potential solutions.
  • You have a "sixth sense" for urgency and confidentiality.
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills.
  • Mastery of G-Suite/Microsoft 365 and modern productivity tools (Slack, Notion, Asana).
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Secret clearance (able to process, US citizenship is a must).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex calendars with an understanding of business priorities.
  • Attend key meetings, capture high-level action items, and proactively follow up with department heads.
  • Prepare the executive team for the day ahead by synthesizing long reports into concise "cheat sheets".
  • Act as the first point of contact for external partners, board members, and potential acquisitions.
  • Lead special projects such as organizing board retreats, managing the administrative side of a fundraise, or coordinating high-profile speaking engagements.
  • Identify bottlenecks in the organization and streamline communication between the C-suite and the rest of the company.
  • Manage executive expenses, travel logistics, and sensitive corporate documentation with absolute discretion.
  • Utilize and implement tools (AI, CRM, Project Management software) to automate routine tasks and increase the office’s overall efficiency.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary
  • Generous PTO
  • Health/dental/vision insurance
  • 401K matching
  • Tuition reimbursement
